Objective
This Florida ECLB approved course #0802203 is intended to fulfill the 14 hours of basic training on fire alarm system for individuals that are employed or will be employed by an unlimited electrical contractor or fire alarm contractor engaged in the contracting or installation of fire alarm systems.
Course Description
This course will provide basic fire alarm system technology, installation procedures, and the underlying technology behind the fire alarm system tools and equipment. It will cover the industry and the importance of the fire alarm system agent role within the industry, the importance of codes and standards, and how to locate and apply them. Upon completion, the participant will receive a certificate and badge that is valid for a period of two years from the date of issuance.

Fire Alarm System manual will be provided to student at a cost of $10.00.
Disclaimer
Student will be issued a Certificate of Course Completion one week after completing the training. The student must present the certificate to their employer (unlimited electrical contractor or fire alarm contractor) in order for the employer to furnish their identification card. Employers are required to furnish ID cards to their fire alarm system agent in accordance with Section 489.5185(4)(a)(b)(c)(d) Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code 61G6-12.003
