Master Electrician Exam Preparation

Objective
To prepare the individual for the Miami-Dade County Master Electrician two part exam by reviewing the essential exam topics and to equip the student with effective test taking strategies.
Course Description
The course will provide study methods, techniques, and class material that the individual can utilize in order to obtain a passing score on both exams. Business Procedures and Technical exam topics are the main focus of this course while providing sample exam questions for practice purposes.
Requirements
Is at least 18 years of age.

Training Schedule:

Training for the Master Electrician exams starts with Business Procedures in the morning hours and Trade Knowledge in the afternoon hours every Saturday.

Masters Certificate of Competency

• Requires an applicant to have held for two years a Certificate of Competency as a journeyman issued by the Miami-Dade Construction Trade Qualifying Board and have at least two years of prior field experience; • Requires submittal of an application to include proof of experience through letters from employers stating the dates of employment and description of work performed and submittal of W-2 tax documents covering the employment period; • Requires successfully passing an examination with a grade of 70% or above.
